Zachary Caceres
Zachary Caceres is a senior software engineer and writer who works with start-ups in Silicon Valley. Previously, he led the Startup Cities Institute at Universidad Francisco Marroquín. He later led the Michael Polanyi College, MPC, an experimental, self-directed college at UFM. Zach has spoken around the world on Startup Cities, education, and programming for venues ranging from the Singapore National Library, St. Gallen Symposium, Gruter Institute for Law and Behavioral Sciences, MIT Global Startup Workshop, Yandex, ClassCentral.com, and more. His work has won multiple awards and has been featured or published by Palgrave MacMillan, Routledge, Virgin Entrepreneur, the Atlantic’s CityLab, NYU’s Governance Lab, Barron’s, the New Zealand Initiative, the Adam Smith Center of Singapore, and the World Design Organization.
As a technologist, Zach’s code powers multiple venture-backed start-ups that serve more than a million customers in e-commerce, low code tooling, entertainment, and health tech verticals. His website, zach.dev, has been featured for its innovative web design by the AWWWards and the Hochschule Mainz University of Applied Sciences.
